“One of two good places, but also consider Posada de las Ollas”

The Posada de las Ollas may be a better choice, simply because you will likely get better exposure to the pottery of the village since potters are allowed to come into the lobby and show their wares...thus, you can buy directly from them.....whereas, the Adobe Inn has its own 'gift shop' and thus controls what you are offered. This inn provides three meals a day which are included in the price of your lodging. Rooms run $75 a night for a double…very affordable. The rooms are modest but it is safe and clean and makes you feel like a part of the village. The staff are friendly and will help provide tours of the potters homes, the area... More

The very small town of Mata Ortiz is very well known for the amazing potters that it has produced for several generations.
