I visited this hotel a year ago and wasn't any more or less I expected from an Ibis. The location is very convenient if you would like to make train trips in Belgium ( Brugges, Gent, Antwerps...) or go international ( France, UK, Holland...) Very good location for the hotel as we were travelling everywhere by train - you can be on platforms in 90 secs! Usual Ibis fare - clean, managhed to get a room at the back of hotel so was quieter (road side is noisy). Bar better variety now, and for a city centre not bad prices. Pity about breakfast prices... It is a good example of an Ibis. It is however opposite Gare Midi and the area feels quite intimidating to a lone female traveller.
