Had a very nice 3 days here. Location is excellent, quiet countryside yet easy reach of towns, villages and coast. All within about 15 minutes. Accommodation was excellent. A nice place to come back to at the end of the day. In fact we came back early one afternoon simply because it was nice to sit there on the porch... More

No noise except for the birds. Rooms had everything we wanted and more. Extremely clean. Breakfast was fresh & healthy. Owners friendly. Appreciated that our rooms were not entered without our permission. Really recommend it for a rural stay that wasn't too far away from everything More

We stayed at Poppies for 3 nights, as this was recommended by friends who live nearby and who we were visiting for a 60th birthday. The place looks great in the photos but things change when you get there. There are no 'fluffy towels'. There is plunger, but only instant coffee, the breakfast juice is unbearably sweet, some bread, only... More

I stayed at Poppies B&B in 2008 during the winter and it was a nice,quaint place. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms by the dam/lake. It was very sweetly furnished, the bed was comfortable and kitchenette had everything we needed. The breakfast was good and the bath was excellent! A nice quiet place to stay. More
