“Very nice hotel in a great environment”

We (two couples) stayed at De Schildkamp. Do not be distracted by the outside of the hotel, it looks quite businesslike but the rooms are very nice: large, clean, good beds and a comfortable bathroom. A nice, clean hotel with pleasant staff. Nice for elderly people or if you want to stay somewhere very peaceful. Nice places nearby and with good weather a lake across the road. Good for cycling or relaxing.

This hotel look really old: it reminded me of low-cost hotels when you had to travel low-budget as a student. The entire atmosphere is rather depressing: its look is a mix between a hospital and a prison. The rooms are big but dusty and oldfashioned.
