This is a gem of a place to stay in Hakuba. Especially good for couples and families. Marcus and his wife are excellent hosts who could not do enough for us. The rooms and lounge are very clean, breakfast is excellent and very good value for Japan. However, the best thing about staying here was the excellent owners who are... More

I stayed in the Japanese style tatami room for 1 week during January. Hakuba is a gorgeous place and Markus did his utmost to ensure I got the most out of my experience, from the time I got out of bed to my Swiss style breakfast with lovely fresh croissants to the time I returned after yet another stunning day... I stayed in Koyuki for 3 nights in February 2012 and had a wonderful time there. The loft room I had was excellent, 2 floors, the tatami room is a standout feature. The hosts Markus and Kyoko were both lovely and welcoming. They also gave excellent recommendations: where to snowboard, where to eat etc. Valuable for first timers. The accomodation... More

B&B Koyuki suited us perfectly! Extremely comfortable with well designed and positioned facilities, including a large secure drying/storage room for ski equipment and wet ski clothes. Each morning we were greeted with a Swiss style continental breakfast (delicious and very substantial) including freshly made drip filter coffee. Great coffee! We did not need to snack at all on the ski... More

B&B Koyuki is the perfect place to stay in Hakuba! It has the comfort and styling of a swiss chalet, but with plenty of Japanese touches. I recently stayed in one of the japanese rooms with loft and it was wonderful. We were able to experience the novelty of tatami mat flooring and the beds were soooo cosy and comfortable.... More

B&B Koyuki was a highlight of our trip to Japan. It was in a fabulous location and Markus & his wife made us feel right at home from day 1. We arrived on Hakubus (http://www.hakubus.com/) straight from Narita airport at around 3am and were still greeted by a smile. We stayed in the Western Style loft room which was quirky,... More
