We stayed in january 2013, service from all staff exceptional as well as their english. Rooms are clean and normal size for Japan, my only concern is the hire gear is outdated and expensive for what it is, however the service is so good I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to my freinds. Thank you so much to Joe and his family and staff for being so attentive and accommodating for us when we stayed. They were always there to help with transport, medicine, restaurant bookings and practicing Japanese. They would go out of their way to help you and with young kids that always helps. Will stay again and recommend highly.

High Mount Hotel has a magical atmosphrere and friendly personnel. The food is also amazing and it`s located ski in / ski out Happo One ski center. They also have the most relaxing onsen for guests. Joe and his father Hitoshi are very helpful to inform you about skiing, shopping, eating out or anything :) Just ask!
