Bedroom attractive,bed comfortable. Fresh milk would be nice--cartons made tea taste unpleasant.Bathroom terrible(black patches on ceiling- grubby tile grouting-no cold tap casing).Window ledges in restaurant would be attractive if there were some fresh flowers on them or at least the plants in situ better looked after. Spent 3 nights dinner, bed & breakfast at The Bear and really enjoyed ourselves. The inn has changed ownership and management since previous reviews and any problems seem to have been sorted out. Rooms are clean and well serviced. Friendly and ebullient staff and locals. Food was good and portions very much on the ample side. More
