Lovely staff especially in the restaurant.Food was excellent. Lovely setting, could have soooooo much more potential if only it was dealt with properly. We too were given room 16 and it is terrible! The bed is the creakiest most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life and the room is so pokey and the floorboards at the... More

Fab hotel - not 5 star by any means but neither is £49/night D B & B. New menu every night and we could have selected anything from it, such was the daily selection. Four veg served with most meals and included in the price. Rooms were basic but fine but bed was very noisy albeit comfortable. Great staff too.... More

We didn't stay but came in for dinner. It was 8pm and the restaurant manager was uncertain whether we could still be served but after consultation with the chef it was deemed ok. I got the impression the other diners were probably all staying at the hotel. The waiter, who was foreign, was unintentionally quite comic – shades of Fawlty... More

The hotel has a stunning location overlooking the bay and beautiful silver sands. It is a typical old West Highland hotel. The staff were first class and friendly. The food was excellent with a lovely view. The double room we had was small and could only be classed as a large single. This was probably because the hotel was busy... More

Had passed before but never visited Morar. Had two night stop. Excellent dinners and wonderful views from hotel and all around. An area worth seeing. Friendly staff. Only drawback, we did not pay extra for seaview and got room 16. Very small and cramped and the creakiest bed ever and that was just sitting on it! Avoid it unless you... More

Having read both old and recent reviews of the restaurant at Morar Hotel, my mother and I decided to test the place ourselves. We were welcomed in by the very friendly manager of the hotel and ushered in to the restaurant. The waitress was very apologetic that she could not seat us at the window to watch the sunset (as... I have recently returned from staying at this hotel and believed I must have read about the wrong hotel before I got there. Now I usually read Trip Advisor before my trips but never really contribute but in defence of this hotel I feel I must. Now dont get me wrong this hotel needs a bit of investment and by... More

Our room was the largest of the 3 and very comfy, got everything you would want for an overnight stay. Breakfast was great, we all had the full scottish and would... More

I was staying here whilst working and could not praise the hotel and staff highly enough, as I was working night shift the housekeeping staff went out of their way to make sure I got a good sleep by waiting until they knew I was up before hoovering outside of my room, believe me the number of times I have...
