A serendipitous find after missing the last ferry to Skye. Wonderful accommodation and lovely hosts, (including Bobby the dog) I couldn't have found better. I only drove to Mallaig after finding my normal route was closed after an accident, hence missing the ferry. Oddly, for someone who lives on Skye, I hadn't visited the Mallaig area before but found the... More

This is the best b&b we stayed in during our short vacation in Scotland. Maggie was a real treat for us, the best host anyone can get. Everything was there to make you comfortable and at home. The breakfasts were delicious and the little menu she proposes makes it very special. The views from the bedroom window are spectacular and the... More

We had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast right next to the station at Morar. The room was spacious and the view of the sands of Morar was superb. Maggie and Phil were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and even the weather was good. Highly recommended!! More

It was so good the first time –I came back! I only found Harlosh in June this year but managed to have a week off in Sept and so returned. Once discovered this lovely establishment becomes a second home and the Maggie Phil team become your “friends up north” rather than patrons. It really pleases me to see so many... More

Phil and Maggie made us most welcome. It is quite a problem to find accomodation which will accept dogs. Some may take one small dog but two can be a problem. I was chuffed when Maggie said they had a room available. I was worried that the dogs might be a bit of a handfull for them as this is... More

This is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed! Dual aspect room, fabulous views, cosy, comfy bed, a sofa, spotless bathroom and, yes, welcoming and relaxed without being the slightest bit intrusive - I felt as if I was among friends. I feel sure I will be back and would like to wish Maggie and Phil all the very... More

Maggie and Phil have the knack of making you feel at home without being intrusive. The welcome is warm, the nightcap and homemade biscuits are a lovely touch. The room is fabulous, quite big enough to relax in. The views are great in both directions. Even though you are next to the railway it is one of the quietest and... More

We found Harlosh Guest House through the Road to the Isles accommodation web site when travelling to the west coast for a couple of days. The room was enormous, extremely clean and comfortable with fantastic views from the rear 'picture window' looking out, over the garden, to the island of Rum. A pair of binoculars were even in the room... More

We found Harlosh on a local website on a very busy weekend but still managed to book in. The room was amazing being very spacious and having a sitting area too, more like a hotel suite than a B and B !! The room had the most amazing views out of the fornt and the back of the house. The... More

This B&B is gorgeous! I really mean it. I wanted to stay in Morar for 3 nights for a family wedding. We stayed 2 nights in the Morar hotel (which was ok) but on the 3rd night I needed to find somewhere cheaper. So,.. by accident I called the Harlosh. I was greeted by a lovely lady called Maggie who... More
