Myself and my husband stayed in Rosie, the lovely gypsy wagon, this past weekend and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Rosie is really well equipped with everything you need and the bed is incredibly comfy and cosy. If you fancy an escape from reality for a night or two, Rosie is definitely for you. The B&B... More

We stayed for 3 days in The Hayloft. Its a beautiful, light, big room with a comfortable en suite next door. Its difficult to praise the owners too much. Full of enthusiasm David helped us with our throwing pots on wheels. And we were set up for this with a lovely full English in the morning. This place is out... More

Stayed 2 nights in the Hayloft at the Vinegar Hill Pottery, a quirky & comfortable room up a spiral staircase. Beautifully furnished en-suite which had everything we needed. Breakfast brought to our room at a set time in the morning. David & Lucy are welcoming & attentive hosts, would definitely recommend.

I have been meaning to write this review for ages, but the selfish part of me didn't want to share this wonderful place! I went with my cousin and our 2 daughters last October half-term. My daughter and had the en-suite Hayloft and my cousin and her daughter had the Garden room that comes with the breakfast/TV room. Dave cooked... More

This is a great find, from Rosie the Gypsy Wagon, to the comfortable rooms and the very helpful Lucy. Its a quirky house with the pottery and showroom out front the B&B and family home at the back. The rooms are generous with their own breakfasting areas. All is spotlessly clean and comfortable. There is masses to do in the... More

We stayed two nights in the hayloft room and it was the perfect size and location. We liked the vaulted ceilings and the skylights throughout the room and bathroom. The outside spiral staircase was a fun and unique experience. We are both in our mid twenties so we had no problem gliding up and down the narrow steps. The bed... More

Spent two very comfortable nights in the Hayloft, with it's wonderful bathroom and very comfy bed. Lovely breakfast served in our room on David's beautiful pottery. A perfect spot for wandering into Milford for walks and dinner. Highly recommended!

Spent a week at David & Lucy's 5 nights in the garden room, 2 nights in the hayloft, both were exceptionally clean, with great bathrooms, the beds are comfortable,& the breakfasts first class. A great location for strolling into Milford only a ten minute walk, but also a great base for touring further afield, the new forest & the isle... More

We spent 2 nights in Vinegar Hill's very own Victorian gypsy caravan, then 2 nights in the Hayloft and thoroughly enjoyed both parts of our stay. The caravan is, obviously, small but so quaint and the bed was extremely comfortable. You soon get used to the dimensions of the caravan(mind your head on the entrance) and start to relax. It's... This was another great Alastair Sawday recommendation and, as usual, it didn't disappoint. David and Lucy were very welcoming, our room was comfortable and well-equipped, the breakfasts were delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring Milford on Sea. There's loads of parking and it's a doddle to walk into the centre of town for a meal (if you're walking... More
