We have just returned from our 3rd visit to Trehellas House. We always stay in the Pencarrow room, A very cosy room with a supper cottage feel about it. The breakfasts and evening meal are always something to look forward to. Debra and Alistair the owners always go out of their way to make you feel very welcome. We wish... More

Sweet little hotel, not bad value for money. Because they are a small outfit they close at 10.30 / 11ish - there is not an overnight person on the desk. This was a bit of a problem for us as we were driving down late from London, but the main person on duty very kindly waited up to 11.30ish to... More

I recently stayed at Trehallas whilst in the West Country on business. I stayed in the Port Issac room which was described as a single but was still a good sized double room with an extremely comfy mattress. I ate in the restaurant on the evening of my stay and the food was excellent. There was a special of Rib... More

This B&B is in an excellent location. We were able to visit the Eden Project, Pencarrow House (a pleasant walk away), Lanhydrock, Padstow, Port Isaac, and the lovely tradtiional village of Blisland by just staying one night! Owners and staff are very pleasant. Breakfast was good (freshly cooked). We stayed in a room in the coach house. It was small,... More

I had a small pleasant room. Reasonable shower and bathroom bits. Bed was comfortable. Although my room was on a main road, I didn't find it noisy. It consists of converted old buildings, which gives it character - dark stone floors in the main building, low ceilings. The best thing was the food. I had an excellent dinner. I chose... More

We had an upstairs room in the coach house on a special offer of £50 for the double. We thought this was really good value. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The only downside was the noise from the person below who had a late night visitor and when they had a shower at midnight it did sounded rather like we... More

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was very good, our only complaint was that the vegetarian breakfast seemed quite small, with the bacon and sausages being replaced with only 1 veggie sausage. It was so nice, we would like to have had... More

Me and my partner stopped here for Two nights. Nice rooms with comfy bed. Breakfast was good and plentiful, always served with a smile on their face. Good location, not far from Bodmin and easily accessible to Newquay and Padstow by car. We would definitly stop again. More

One could easily drive straight passed this Hotel without noticing it. Just off the A389 Bodmin to Wadebridge road, the Trehellas House is a lovely old stone built hotel offering comfortable accommodation to a high standard and a first class restaurant to match. We only stayed one night but found the bedroom to be spacious and well appointed. The bathroom... More

Booked the 2 night inclusive dinner, B and B deal-mainly due to other 5*ratings this place has received. Initial impression a bit disappointing-bedroom was quite noisy as it was the closest one to the road, and although spotlessly clean and in good condition was a bit 1980ish in style, though I was pleased to have such a very comfortable bed....
