This is a nice pub and the rooms are very comfortable. It's perfect if you need a nice place to sleep for the evenings while exploring beautiful Wye and walking the Downs. But the stable rooms are rather small and there is only a small window so if you want to spend a lot of time in your room, it... More

We stayed for one night over Easter bank holiday and were very happy with our stay. The accomodation in the stables was very comfortable and the bathroom was particulary nice, the staff were very friendly and efficient , the bar was busy and had a decent selection of beers and finally there is a good size car park which makes... We had a good (one night) stay at the New Flying Horse. The staff was friendly and overall there was a relaxed atmosphere. The room we stayed in was probably one of the smaller ones (nr. 9 outdoor building) and not really spotless. Those being the points of attention I must say breakfast was ok and during an earlier visit... More

We've stayed here in this tranquil corner of England twice now, and it is a very nice place to rest you head. Rooms were very nice, and there is an award winning garden outside. Ample parking can be found behind the pub. Breakfast is made to order individually and although it tastes fantastic it can take a while to arrive,... More

Until now I have never had a bad experience after reading recommendations on Tripadvisor but having read other's reviews I was really disappointed with the New Flying Horse. We had an overnight stay on 2nd March and we ate in the pub that evening. When I booked I asked which was the best room and I was told it was... More

Enjoyed stay and 4 of us all had a good evening meal. Bar ran a tab for us from Sat pm drinks, then Sat evening meals and drinks and added rooms then split for us for checkout. Great service! Choices on menu and presentation and quality of food was good for starters, mains and desserts. Lots of choices of wine... More

This Inn gets it right in every category - very well kept premises, lots of atmosphere, genuinely friendly manager and staff, great local ale and wonderful food. The coach house room was very well appointed and comfortable and wouldn't have been out of place in a AA 3 Star hotel! Where I live, pubs and Inns are going out of... More

This is one of my local pubs, and we always go here for Friday night drinks. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, the drink selection is good and the food is fantastic. It is great for Sunday lunch with family or for a romantic meal with your partner. There is always lots of parking, the loos are always clean and... More

We stayed for 5 nights, and by the end of our stay, the staff had made us feel like we were part of the family. The room we stayed in was outstanding, the food was fantastic, and the service very friendly. This is one of those 'gastro-pubs', and the chef makes an absolutely divine dinner... we did not have dinner... More
