Found the Salutation on the internet and read some of the reviews. We stayed here 4 nights from 20/03/12 and can say what an excellent choice this turned out to be. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious and both John and his wife made us feel really at home. The location is good for visiting this area and we...

My husband and I stayed here when we visited Ffald-y-Brenin. They were full but gave us a list of accommodation in the area which is where we found Salutation Inn and we couldn't have picked better. The jovial owner/host (John) and his wife made you feel welcome from the moment you arrived and their courtesy...

Pulled up here on the off-chance whilst taking my elderly mother on a reminisce of old Pembrokeshire haunts we used to frequent on family holidays when I was a child.
The owners were both very welcoming. Staff were attentive throughout our evening meal. The beer and home-made food in the restaurant were excellent, and breakfast in the conservatory was a...

Have just returned from a lovely stay at the Salutation Inn. John and Gwawr were wonderful hosts, and their knowledge of the area was invaluable. They were able to suggest many places of interest which we might otherwise have missed. The rooms at the inn are of a good size , very clean, and well equiped. The food is superb...

We stayed here for 5 days. Our twin room was clean, comfortable and well equipped.Food was excellent - good helpings. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful and attentive, and it was obviously genuine not part of a corporate script.
The setting is a bit off the beaten track, but for us it was so much better than the more popular...
