The scale of Chateau de la Lanette has to be experienced first hand to be properly appreciated, the high ceilings and vast corridors are matched only by Heather, Russell, Louis, Henry and Hugo's warm reception. We felt like we'd moved in. In fact we found ourselves unable to leave at the end of the holiday (so we stayed another 3... More

Home from home as usual. The new playroom was great for the kids as was the garden stuffed with swings, trampoline and toys. Family suite was excellent and great food again (thanks Heather) and Russel knows his wines too. See you next year!!!!!!! More

Relaxing is a word I never thought I'd use for a holiday with a toddler but staying at this place makes everything so easy. This is achieved by a lot of hard work by the hosts, Russell and Heather, mainly behind the... More

We were a group of three keen cyclists visitng in early July, 2011, looking ot explore the Pyrenees during the Tour De France. Stayed here with two friends as a base for doing some riding in the Pyrennees. Heather and Russell were wonderful hosts, always helpful and good fun to be around. Our first week abroad in a B&B/hotel with our two year old son was made so much easier by the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere at this lovely home of Heather and Russell. Kids meals at 5.30pm were a godsend as were the other child friendly touches and helpful advice that were on tap. Lovely adult food and wine too.... More

La Lanette wiped away any worries about going on a snow holiday with a toddler. They supplied everything we needed, we didn't even have to bring toys (they have a very extensive range of childens toys). We just had to travel with our clothes and snow gear. Almost like before we were parents! Heather answered all my questions before we... More
