Well placed just out of town, about 20 minute walk. Good food at lunchtime in a pleasant restaurant. Public areas and rooms are of a good standard and they have smoking rooms. The room safe is free. Immaculately clean everywhere. We visited the first week in august and it was all beautifully serene and quiet [with an exception]. Rustic and a bit gloomy in style, but - it is a traditional Parador. Everything good quality and working. Outside temperature daily over thirty, air-con stayed effective 24 hours. As with all paradores nice staff and clean. Good beds. Fantastic breakfast. But the floor heating was on and outside was 30 degrees. Asked the reception to shut it down but was told, the system was out of order. The A/C didn't work either. The parador is located between the highway and main road.
