“In the middle of nothing”

I stayed in this hotel during my visit to Den Bosch for the WC Final in Equestrian. I find the hotel too far away, and nothing around it. The single rooms are really very little, and the service to the rooms very poor. One day I did not get any service, other day it was really messy. Not very recomended. More

A small single room was what I reserved, and it is what I got. Room 19, tiny room with single bed, wardrobe, small desk, chair and night stand. En suite shower room and WC. Some hotels aim at making their guests feel comfortable, Guldenberg is not one of them. As a solo business traveller I have rarely been more amazed-in a negative way- by the service and standards of a hotel. “Don't stay here unless you want to be charged twice”

I stayed at the Conferentiehotel Guldenberg in Helvoirt for 2 nights in late July. On check in we were told that it was their normal practice to actually take the payment for the room up front so we paid this by card. They didn't just take an imprint of the card which is more normal, we paid there and then.... More
