This hotel hits the mark perfectly if you want good value, good service and good food. I booked this hotel for a party of 12 golfers, including myself, and we were looked after superbly. Golf course tee times were arranged for us, I simply had to state our preference when booking. There are quality golf courses all around the area,... More

A wonderful find. Friendly and helpful staff made our overnight stay a very pleasant event. Our room was large and recently refurbished. The bed and bedding were great quality with a good supply of soft white towels for the well appointed shower room. The only disappointing thing was the dismal view from the windows of a rather dingy wall of... More

I stayed here one night for dinner, bed and breakfast when I was walking through along the coast. I received a warm welcome, enjoyed a proper roast dinner and a large room and comfortable bed. Everything was clean and new.

I have stayed at the Station three times now whilst in the area on business. It's great value and the breakfast was included. A great selection all freshly cooked. Sets you up great for the day ahead. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff are all very helpful. Evening meals are very good with a large choice and good... More

Dined here on the 23/12.2012. On arrival we noticed the dining room looked very clean and recently refurbished, very welcoming. When being seated there was a table of 4 elderly people, pulling crackers, which made it very festive. We choose to have 3 soups, and 3 Turkeys. When waitress gave us the starters, she asked if we wanted a roll... More

To a city boy like myself travelling on business, this was dated and not particularly outstanding - but if your trip to the Moray Firth coast is looking for fitting in with the local feel, then that's what you get. The staff couldn't be any more helpful, although I did feel that we were constantly being asked at what time... More

Stayed here for a 3 day break early October. The hotel is on the main drag through Portsoy with an attached Public Bar. Check in (complete with small dog) was a breeze and the excellent room overlooked the road. Cleanliness of the accommodation was first class. Evening meals were genuinely superb and to find such a talented chef was a... More
