we had the most amazing time at nepenthe... the view is simply amazing, and it IS an infinity pool, with a view of volcanoes and arenal lake... totally overwhelming! everyone there is simply great and trying to make you feel good. the absolute highlight of our trip :-)

Location location location!! A little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Agustin the manager is great. Even met the owners who were wonderful. We did NOT have 4wd...we drove a sedan (corolla) just drive SLOW up the hill as it is steep and rocky. So relaxing and great breakfasts :)

Well away from the main tourist drag between Arenal and La Fortuna, this gorgeous location and øplrly cabins can't be praised enough. Just wish we could have stayed longer. This B&B is a little out of the way up rough gravel roads but well worth it. Agustin welcomed us graciously and was very helpful. Charming accommodations and great breakfasts with excellent views of Laguna Arenal. Highly recommend this B&B, 100%
