Have stayed several times with Bob & Denise - on this occasion, as previously, we were made to feel most welcome. They are both very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, fresh fruit ,cereal & cooked breakfast to a high quality and also the room was very clean & tidy... More

We were greeted by Mr. Guy before we even got there. He was on the deck at the back of the hosue watching for us and guided us on our last steps. He was very welcomng and not put off by our wet, muddy appearance...we were on the Coast to Coast Walk. He and his wife sat and talked to... More

I know that by definition B&B's are going to be the owners' home, but this one really felt as if I was intruding because there seemed to be no definition between owner and guest areas. Finding it isn't easy, and I had a feeling I'd got it wrong as I walked up an obviously private and residential cul-de-sac. The house... More

A very homely stay with charming and friendly hosts. Not much to fault here, certainly a good choice for coast to coast accommodation.

A lovely bed and breakfast. Extremely comfortable with nice 'smellies' to pamper yourself with. Especially appreciated after long tiring walks. Very friendly hosts. A great breakfast and great conversation to begin the day. The fruit salad bowl was delicious. Would recommend.

A lovely couple of hosts. Very helpful and took good care of "wets". Comfortable, clean property but the room was a little small and the ensuite was "functional". Very much a gingerbread style house with lots of ornaments and frills to enjoy. Generous breakfast.

Warm, comfortable and friendly B & B. Home baked scone and welcome cup of tea on arrival. A comfy night and good breakfast.

Springfield house is charmingly appointed and close to the Reeth's central square. Denise and her husband are super friendly hosts, and we were welcomed with scones and tea - which goes a long way after a day of hiking. Rooms are nice, perhaps a bit on the small side. Still, one of the more memorable places to stay in during... More

We stayed here as part of the Coast to Coast Walk. We had an enjoyable stay at Springfield and were warmly greeted with tea and scones on the terrace. Our hosts joined us in the sunshine and it was great to get to know them. Our room was very comfortable, the house well setup for walkers and there is also... More
