The Mulia Poso Lake hotel is a simple hotel in a beautiful location. The views across lake Poso are spectacular. The food is okay. Our room was clean, mandi and cold running water. We had the bad luck of an open-air karaoke and during the greater part of the night it was very noisy.
The hotel consists of two rows of bungalows right on the shore of Lake Poso. The location is fantastic. To take a swim in the lake was a treat after the long drive from Rantepao. We were the only guests (Sept 2011). The wooden bungalows are rather basic. There is no AC, but the temperatures did not necessitate AC anyway....

We were the only guests during our out-of-season overnight stay.
Our chalet room faced the lakeside. Well-appointed but very basic. The bedding is Indonesian-style consisiting of a bottom sheet and a blanket. A top sheet was supplied on request.
Cold water only in the bathroom and the electricity only runs from 1800-midnight.
We were woken in the wee small hours...
