Chose The Hideaway and were not disappointed. 4 couples and 4 children accommodation in the Penthouse plus 1 family and 1 double room all nicely appointed and the penthouse was like a small house which slept 4 adults and 2 children had everything we could want, clean, heaps of room with a massive balcony great BBQ area and the kids... More

I stayed here for one night whilst staying in the area for business reasons - I selected the Hideaway because of it's proximity to the main street, beach, and restaurant/take-away food venues. The mid-week rate for 1 night was $130 (August 2011), which I thought was a little over-priced, especially as there is a sign in the kitchen that indicates... More

this could be a great hotel but the managers in this place are horrible, rude people who tried their best to spoil our break. No scooters, no noise, no visitors, no fun. If they don't want children, 2 well behaved girls, then they should not accept family bookings. I know of another family with a disabled son who were also... More

We arrived at The Hideaway hoping to have a relaxing beach holiday with our children. Enquiries about the rude man comment made a year or so ago revealed that he had been sacked. We had a great time. The location is excellent because it is right on the beach and no roads to cross, and only 100m from surf life... More
