We recently had a week here to celebrate my 30th birthday. There were a mixture of adults and small children/toddlers and we all had a great time. The cottages are so well equipped especially for families with loads of baby equipment, toys, games as well as linen, kitchen crockery and even as far as toiletries. The addition touches from Susan... More

Susan is a fantastic hostess and the farm house is wonderful. Eight were staying there and there was plenty of space to move around in. The children loved the Easter egg hunt that Susan arranged for all. There was so much kit there for anyone bringing babies I would certainly be happy to leave all the kind of bulky stuff... More

This was our first family holiday to Brittany, and what a find Les Hirondelles was. We arrived Easter Bank Holiday weekend, we were greeted by a beautiful cake, milk, juice, wine & beer in the fridge and the most beautiful gite imaginable - it has everything you could ever wish for. A knock on the door the next morning from... More

We stayed at Les Hirondelles for two weeks. This place is just brilliant - fantastically located to visit beautiful beaches, tourist attractions like Mont St Michel, plenty of things to do on sunny and rainy days. Our favourite thing though has to be Les Hirondelles itself: with a 2.5 year old son who loves being outside, he had plenty to... More

Lovely traditional french converted farm house in beautiful surroundings. Huge garden and lots of indoor and outdoor toys for the kids to use. Very safe swimming pool and a lovely owner to make sure your holiday is perfect. The bikes with child seats were great for zooming around to the local town for a crepe! The amazing welcome involved wine... More

We stayed in Les Hirondelles for a week in September. We could not have asked for anything more. The house was lovely and clean and welcoming. A cake, wine, fruit juice, milk and books to read ensure we could settle in with something to eat and drink. Susan was a font of knowledge about the surrounding areas, (lovely timbered houses... Stayed in les chouettes with my hubby, 2.5yr old and our parents and the place was great. Lovely fresh and comfortable bedrooms, generous kitchen and living area, everything we needed and lots of entertainment for kids by way of toys, pool and garden/garden toys. Lots to see and do in the area. Owner (Susan Hazelwood) very friendly and responsive to... More

Coming back in La Haute Mancelière, feels like coming back home. A cake on the table ands some drinks in the frigerator. In the evening you can enjoy a warm fire around the wood fire. Everything you have at home you can find there, even better. For the kids there is a huge garden, with all kinds of toys, even... More

We stayed in Les Chouettes for a week in September, we were travelling with a 3month old and a 2 year old and it was great not to have to pack any childrens equipment as everything you could possibly need is there from change mats and bouncy chairs for the baby and toys, books and swimming floats for the 2... We stayed in Les Alouettes for a week - the accommodation was great and it was good to be within a short drive of so many interesting places/ attractions . The cottage was very well equipped - baby equipment meant that we needed to bring very little along with us, enthusiastic 'chef' was very impressed by the kitchen equipment and... More
