Japan is an amazing country, and Chisun Inn Asakusa is excellent as well.It is very convenient to get to the places I want in Tokyo. The Toei Asakusa Station is near the hotel. There are also many good resturants around Chisun Inn.The room is very clean, and the reception is so nice.If there are chances I can visit Tokyo again,I will choose Chisun Inn More

I've stayed in many hotels in Japan but this was the grossest. Even though we had booked a non-smoking room this room reeked of smoke. We left the windows open for 24 hours and eventually it became bearable. It was also incredibly hot with no way of adjusting the temperature and the shower curtain could use a wash. Wouldn't recommend. More

Not bad for a Tokyo business hotel, nice and clean and near enough to Asakusa. But then again, everywhere in Tokyo is near a subway station and a few things could really have improved the stay. - no wi-fi (even in the lobby) - no real lobby either - restaurant open some weird hours. Whenever we walked past and were... More

Just returned from a 15 night stay at this cozy little hotel with my wife, first I'll go over the finer points of the property, it is in a great location, easy to get to by either the Toei Ginza Line (Asakusa sta) or the much closer Toei Ōedo Line (Kuramae sta), there are many sights and excellent places to... Stayed here Aug 08. The rooms are minute but they have all that they need in them. Only problem with our room was that the window opened into a wall, so absolutely no view whatsoever... made the room feel even smaller! But the free internet was a plus! More

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. The hotel is average at best, we got the feeling the room would have been very cool 10 years ago. It was just a little outdated, but really it was fine for our trip, we didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room. The staff were nice and helpful. We... More

I've stayed at this hotel a half dozen times. It is located in the "old" part of Tokyo near Sensoji, undoubtedly the most visited temple in Tokyo, away from all the major tourist hotels. There are a lot of complementary comments on Tripadvisor and I agree with 99% of them. The majority of guests during the week are Japanese businessmen... More

Just came back from another vacation in Japan and stayed at the Chisun Inn in Asakusa. I was there for two weeks and stayed at this hotel the whole time and have to say it was a very good experience overall. Room was small but kept neat and clean by the staff. A small refrigerator was included in the room... More

My bf and I chose to stay 7 nights at this hotel, as part of our month-long trip to Japan as it was a lot more affordable than other hotels in Tokyo and cheaper than backpacker hostels as well (thanks to a great deal through Expedia). The staff were so nice and accommodating. We arrived at 10:30pm soaking wet due... More
