This was the second time I have stayed at Hotel Tateshina, and I will absoloutely stay again.
It's not the Ritz, but you get what you pay for. A compfy room, hospitable staff and conveniently placed in the heart of Shinjuku. Being so close to JR station at this cost was perfect! Made for easy travel.

The rooms are clean and not expensive, the staff is very friendly and helpful. There were some minor problems with the WLAN connection, but the staff was able to fix them. The location of the hotel is also good. I can recommend this hotel.

Such is my personal experience of the Hotel Tateshina in Shinjuku.
Reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful English speaking staff. Free intenet on PC in lobby.
