We stayed here for 5 nights on our first trip to Tokyo. The rate was excellent for a big city, and the hotel's location couldn't be better, literally across the road from Akihabara JR Station, which is on the Yamanote line that circles the city. The room was small, as expected for Tokyo, but easily big enough for the 2... More

I spent one night here, it was my last night in Japan and I wanted to check out Akihabara (the anime shops). The hotel is about a 1 minute walk from the JR station, a very good location. The subway is also close by. The main parts of Akiba (the anime shops and the Crossfield building) are about a 5... More

Although it is a Japanese business hotel it is quite suitable for international visitors. For short stays this is an excellent hotel. In Tokyo space is at a premium and so the rooms are small but ergonomically well designed, and priced well below the international hotel chains. The hotel is brand new. The previous Washington hotel that occupied the site... More

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel in our family trip in Tokyo. The hotel located in the heart of Akihabara. Only 1 minutes on foot to the nearest train station & akihabara center. The room is very clean. A standard small japanese hotel room. Queen size bed room and a bath room with bath tub and nice water... More

Let's say this up front - this is Tokyo. Most hotel rooms are small. And yes, these rooms are small, but they have made the best of the space they have. Although there are no wardrobes, there are hooks on the wall with hangers, and a bottle of febreeze to refresh your clothes (nice touch!). Although the bed is against... More

We were looking for an affordable place to stay since we wanted to extend our stay in Tokyo beyond my business trip. The rates seemed too good to be true but we decided to book our rooms based on what we could see online. Granted, the room is TINY but this is Tokyo....what are you doing in your room! The... More

This hotel just reopened for renovations in May. I stayed here in July 2010 (today) and am totally impressed. Brand new building, new rooms, new everything. i used to stay at Toyoko Inns but this place is way above them. Large enough rooms, 2 mins from Akihabara Station. Great free internet, etc. Will return. More

Rooms were tiny and ancient. Wanted to cry when I first stepped into it. The bathroom was a plastic cut out like you would find in a caravan, tiny and you had to step into it. The window had a view of a wall of another building so limited natural light. The breakfast was very traditional so no toast or... More

We stayed at the Akihabara Washington from 2/1/07 - 7/1/07 and it was excellent. Of course the rooms were smaller than what we were used to the semi double bed room that we booked turned out to be a very spacious queen size with a fair amount of room to walk around, place our 4 pieces of luggage and there...
