Stop wasting time reading hotel reviews and book Hotel Niwa now ! The staff are very helpful. They booked cabs for us, answered all our questions and if they didn’t know the answer they found someone who did. We had a standard room on the 10th floor. Yes it’s small but what it lacks in size it makes up for... More

Nice hotel in a very central public transport location for sightseeing in Tokyo. In a quiet street, with lots of restaurants around. The complimentary water, good quality shampoo and working wifi was nice. The bed is good quality, but for 2 people small, standard rooms are very small as well. Staff was very friendly, be aware that there is always... More

Having lived in Tokyo my expectations were high when it came to hotel quality and accommodations. I was very surprised with the level of details that Hotel Niwa provided. The rooms were very small (expected of Tokyo) but very hospitable. It provided Japanese modern decor without going over the top (including the infamous Japanese toilet seats). As expected, the rooms... More

We stayed here in May 2012. Hotel is located just minutes from the subway and JR lines on a quiet street. Our room had 2 full size beds and a deep bath tub. The staff was very nice and the room very clean. We would stay here again! ryan from love-and-adventure.com More

Our family of four stayed here for a week. We very much enjoyed staying here. We had two rooms: one standard and one of the category just above. They were small but fine, nicely decorated (Japanese modern), and offered all the amenities you would expect from a 4/5 star boutique hotel. The hotel is very clean. The service is friendly... More

In April 2012 we stayed at Hotel Niwa for the second time. Our first visit was shortly after it opened in October 2010. Location is convenient to JR and Toei lines. It is also an easy walk to all the Tokyo Dome attractions! Overall this is a fantastic value for the location, quality and size of the room. Unlike many... More

This was our first time in Japan ( April 2011 )and although we landed very early in the morning and had to wonder around until early afternoon to book in the Hotel staff were very happy to look after our bags. Location is great, its just off the main road so close enough to the tube and JR stations without... More

This is a boutique hotel with very high standards. Stayed two nights and found it to be quiet, yet accessible to parts of this amazing city. The staff are very helpful and on the ground floor you will find a restaurant and other amenities. I would not hesitate to recommend this to business or leisure visitors, as a good place... More

Hotel Niwa is very nice indeed. It is in a useful location just north of the Imperial Palace gardens, in the so-called second-hand books district (which means it is surrounded by universities). Our room was small, but beautifully appointed, and has very attractive Japanese features, like screens on the windows, lots of natural wood, and an excellent bathroom. The service... More

Very clean, friendly and atmospheric with cute landscaped gardens and running water at the entrance to the hotel. We paid £160 for two nights (2 people) having booked about a month before online. At £40 per person per night, compared to some of the world cities that I've visited (London, New York and Paris) I thought this was amazing value... More
