We stayed there for a conference at nearby Tokyo University but the position is convenient for many parts of Tokyo - close to Ueno Park and an easy subway ride to Maranouchi, the Senso Ji temple at Asakusa and electric town at Akihabara. I went on a business trip to Tokyo and attended a conference. I stayed in the Hongo Forest Hotel. The hotel was extremely decent and above average by all standards. Nicer than the average business hotel, this is a great place to stay if you have business at Tokyo University. Not convenient as a base for tourists, though.
