Stayed there last month, and after reading some of the posts I decided to set the record straight with this place...... I loved it !!! Ya the hotel is a little old, but the view is amazing from the balconies, and I had a great time during the one night they have music at the bar.... I danced the night... More

The Pelican Inn is mediocre, but it's a "reasonably cheap" option (30 dollars for a double in high season is what we paid) if you want to make it over to Playa San Miguel and not camp. It's a long hard drive, and depending on where you drive from, you are exhausted when you arrive. Don't expect the "Ritz". Very basic rooms across from a fantastic beach. Chris, who runs the place will do what ever he can to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. He is a great chef, and the food is beyond anything... More
