Gorgeous, tastefully furnished old hacienda. Very tranquil; surrounded by a banana plantation with distant views to the sea; good sized rooms. A one week holiday in January. La hacienda is a great place to stay. The building is fabulous- a few hundred years old - all stone and polished wood. The Hacienda is a great place to stay for a short weekend trip or as base to discover the rest of the island. Lovely gardens, surrounded by banana plantations and a great pool with jacuzzi. Breakfast was OK and the rooms even though they have a lot of character, they could do with more care and attention.
