Perfect for early/late start as 5-10 (max) mins walk from bgy terminal & no need for taxi. You can also take airport bus into town for euro 2 each which stops at train station and also funiculare railway upto alto bergamo (on same ticket) which allows the best tourism of bergamo. Excellent location for overnight stay before early flight - just in front of the airport. Might be tricky to walk to the hotel - as there is a highway just between terminal and hotel, you should go with a loop and going through underground tunnel - follow signs for shopping mall Orio and the hotel is just next to it. Very walkable distance from airport but must walk IN BUSY ROAD part of the way and dark tunnel (scary at night/early morning). Cab ride is expensive. Stayed here as we were catching the 06.15 Ryanair flight to Malaga. Receptionist must be fed up with people asking why no aiport shuttle. Walk not too bad using underpass but not very practical if pouring with rain! rooms very comfortable and having Orio shopping centre next door, very convenient for shopping & eating. More

The walking from airport was awful and we asked about transportation, they said that; we don´t have because people wants to walk. It was dangerous and long walk with suitecases.
