We were driving to Cairns from Darwin and couldn't quite make it. We stopped in pretty late on New Years day and received a warm welcome. Our dog was welcomed too without any rules or regulations being set out. We camped and our dog was allowed to roam around with us( only around 4 other groups there) he is very... More

If you want to see the lava tubes at Undara, I would thoroughly recommend using Bedrock for your accomodation. It is spotlessly clean, the staff are very welcoming and the rooms are very well equipped for self catering. More

We had a great stay at this fabulous and very welcoming park. The facilities were very clean and there was plenty of shade. We enjoyed barbecued salmon and veges for dinner the first night we stayed. But it was the staff who really made our stay a pleasure. We had our collie with us and, as we did the full... More

This place was a little gem in the outback. Jo arranged all tours including Einasleigh train trip and Undarra tubes with guide in advance. No hassles at all. The 4 generations of family had a great time! Didn't experience any meals as April is a little slow after the wet season but none the less a quiet without the crowds... More

We were impressed. Friendly, helpful staff. Shady private site. Modern, clean facilities. The wood-fired pizza. The easy tour booking. It was all good. But nothing, after a month travelling in the beautiful but tough Queensland outback, prepared us for daily fresh pastries, bread and cakes and fresh coffee from the resident pastrycook and his wife. Like i said, there's nothing... More

I'll be spreading the word about this great place. We came into Bedrock because we arrived a day early at Undara ( where we had a booking) and could not get into the overflow to wait our site the next day, When we got to Bedrock , we decided to cancel our reservation at Undara and stay on at Bedrock.... We took 3 tours from the village and thoroughly enjoyed each one - all very different. Meal... More

Hi sallyfry! Thanks for the great feedback! We love pets at Bedrock and believe that travelling with your 'Bestmate' shouldnt restrict you from seeing everthing that this great land has to offer! Im sure your lil mate didnt mind a bit that you left him/her to relax and unwind whilst you did a tour. Thanks again and happy travelling! From... More

We had a night to kill before heading for Undara and the laver tubes, and chanced upon this absolutely delightful place to stay for the night (I wish we had stay 2 or 3 nights). Lovely shady sites, excellent amenities, big camp kitchens, very friendly people and a nice bonfire each night. Kids loved the mini golf (free), I loved... More

Hi Bromo95! Thank you very much for the great response to our Park. We have tried to think of most things that people would like out here in the bush, one of them being a DECENT coffee and a hot shower. Done! We hope to see you all again one day on a planned trip and stay alittle longer. Thanks!... More
