I can not say enough about the Mar y Selva staff and facilities, they were fantastic. My family and I stayed there for a week during the Whale festival and we absolutely had a blast. The hotel was exactly as advertised (very refreshing if you have ever been sucked in by the advertisements and then arrived to find that it... More

I stayed at Mar y Selva for over a month and I was realy sad to leave this place in the end. I was surprised about the friendliness of the personnel - it´s just the way they are. The cabins are roomy and clean + a comfortable bed. The restaurants view to the sea is amazing. No problems with parking.... More

My husband and I were truly saddened to depart this hotel, after enjoying wonderful days there. The location is in the heart of the tree canopywith viewa through the canopy to the Ocean just one kilometer away. Our cabin was modern and spotless, with excellent airconditioning and fan if necessary. The bathroom was large and again spotless. In the room... More

The eco-lodge is situated on a hill, surrounded by unspoiled nature and has a very nice view of the ocean. It is a very peacefull place often visited by local animals, yet it is very safe because there are no dangerous animals around. You can leave your window open all night and wake up to the sounds of nature which... More

The lodge is located in a breathtaking place. The wildlife and flora is incredible. It is also easy to get to. You dont have to trek 3 hours into dense jungle to get there. The owner has done a great job making it tranquil, very clean and still in harmony with nature and the essence of being a natural place.... More

The hotel Owner, Martha, was very attentive and went out of her way to organize 3 amazing, different excursions for us to enjoy as well as excellent suggestions for restaurants. The hotel is a small piece of paradise. Beautiful views in un-spoiled settings. Visted by monkeys, sloths, and lots of other wildlife. I highly recommend this terrific eco-lodge. More

Mar Y Selva is a wonderful resort! The Osa peninsula area is much more laid back than the northwest area (Tamarindo). It is quite, serene, beautiful, great ocean views, minutes from great restaurants. There is an olympic size pool, 10 private bungalows, breakfast included. The monkeys come through on a regular basis, tons of birds, lots of wildlife. It is... More

Owners are very involved not on good way, treat guests as they are there to take stuff from them....not good vibe! We paid for 1 night in advance and did not stay there, lost our money. Go to Cristal Ballena it is a beautiful place. More

Our clients come first. This couple signed in during a heavy rain storm. I offered them time at the restaurant to wait it out so I could take them to their room. They ordered a beer and juice. Then the lady lit up a cigarette. I asked her to extinguish it - which she did. All of our materials indicate... More
