Went with a group of friends for a 30th birthday - contacted them in advance and they were fantastic, organised a lovely cake and champagne! Had an incredible weekend. Felt very personal due to the small numbers. Great food. Beautiful rooms. Would strongly re commend to anyone.

On our own. Could arrange bush trips to suit weather & ourselves. Grass very long so difficult to see small animals. 1st season snow on the Berg while there so early morning very chilly. Beautiful vista's from Lodge & a great place to book out with a group of friends

Unfortunately I could not stay longer but I was most impressed with what I did see of the lodge. The room was excellent and the food even more so. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend the lodge to any prospective tourist.

Esiweni is the jewel in Nambiti’s 5 star crown. From the minute you arrive to the sad moment you leave the Esiweni the service and comfort cannot be faulted. After having spent 4 nights at Esiweni back in March I cannot speak highly enough about quality of the service that the team provide to their guests. Magda and Natie are... More

We were very fortunate to spend two very special nights at Esiweni Lodge in April 2013. We (a party of 9) were greeted at the door by a very hospitable Magda and were given a lovely refreshment to enjoy outside on their desk. Our luggage was very swiftly delivered to our rooms. Their rooms are truly world class and the... More

We spent three nights to celebrate our anniversary in March. Absolute fantastic experience from start to finish. In terms of value for money probably the best experience we had with all our travels throughout the world. We even saw the big five in the short space of time. Views from the lodge and the rooms are unforgettable. We stayed in... More

The staff takes great care, is very nice and always helpful. The rooms are big, have a private veranda with stunning views into the Sunday river valley. During our stay we... More

I stayed at Esiweni Lodge a year ago and decided to return because of how much we enjoyed ourselves before. The first time we visited I thought everything was perfect but this year everything was even better. The new chef, Ash, serves up excellent and delicious food. You definitely won't be hungry during your stay as the meals are very... More

Esiweni is one of many lodges on the privately owned nambiti game reserve. The lodge is a real gem, located on the side of a cliff with a river running in the valley below the view is unbeatable. During my stay buck, leopard and elephant were seen from the deck. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the food great, staff... More

Nothing will ever top the amazing weekend I had at Esiweni. The staff were so welcoming, accommodating, friendly and professional. I felt completely pampered and noticed the little things that made the weekend special. From the warm face towels waiting for you after a cold game drive to the delicious little chocolates left on my bed in the evening. Esiweni... More
