We spent 3 nights here and were very happy with the experience. The main drawback was the total lack of electricity so night could be warm to say the least. The food was great. No electricity at night, dinner with a candle light, noises of the jungle at night. Very basic but charming place to stay. The lady onwer is a bit grouchy though. My impressions were coloured by the fact that we arrived in the dark and left very early the following morning so I don't think we saw the best of the camp. This place is also known as Janjang Bureh Camp. It is beautifully located beside the Gambia River opposite Georgetown. It is used by the Gambia Experience and others when conducting tours up-country.
