I don't think TripAdvisor was around when my boyfriend and I visited Pico Alto Surf Camp back in 2004.... so here is my review 8 years on... I spent several days at the Pico Alto Surf Camp and loved every minute of it. It's a laid-back place with a dormitory feel to it, but each room has its own private bathroom (with hot water upon request), TV, DVD player, DVDs, and books. The decor is all surf.
