This 'pub with rooms' is perfeclty satisfactory if you need to stop-over in the area. It is basic but the rooms are nice enough (if a little dilapidated) and the bar is nice. Overall a good place to stay. Friendly service in a creeky 'olde" coaching inn. Good atmosphere with a good bar area... Restaraunt looked good value although we didnt eat there until breakfast. Great breakfast with a terrible sausage. Change your sausage.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend break as it was my wife`s 50th birthday. We had family and friends joining us. The food was excellent, the staff were very helpful and polite. We had the best customer service that we never had before. The bedrooms were spotless and beautiful. We will definitely be back again.
