I had a 2 days conference there, and I stayed at one of the room for 2 nights. The room is spacious, well furnished. The bathroom is huge and I just love staying in the bathroom The food is surprisingly delicious. If I have a chance to go to Adelaide hill for holiday I'll def stay at the Stirling Hotel.

My husband and I stayed for one night in this lovely hotel. We were in Room 3 and could not have been happier. This room is so spacious and inviting. The bathroom is divine with huge bathtub, flat screen TV, lovely shower and white shuttered windows. The room itself has such a lovely ambience and I loved the fireplace and... More

Entree and mains were fantastic. The chef really knows flavour combinations that complement the seasons. Good selection of local wines. The only minuscule piece of negative feedback from this little gem would have to be the front of house staff. Took a long time to place drink orders and when told about an undercooked soufflé we were met with indifference.... More

We stayed for 2 nights in room 5. The decor is stunning and luxurious. Molten Brown toiletries in a stunning huge bathroom. This is ideal for visiting Hahndorf, a simply stunning village. We don't like country florals and expect only the best and we got what we wanted. The hotel restUrant is also stunning and the food matches- the pub... More

We booked Room 3 at The Stirling Hotel's "5 Rooms Accommodation". All I can say is WOW. This accommodation consists of only 5 rooms (hence the name) and although they recently won an award for the best priced mid-range accommodation, it is a little pricey at over $300 per night, but worth every cent. Room 3 is the pick of... More

We stayed in rooms three and four. Both are very stylish, our room had an enormous bath. Both had balconies. Opposite is a kitchen area with coffee machine, washing machine and dryer and a microwave. We had to leave early on our last day and the staff left us a breakfast of granola, yoghurt, fruit and baked goods. Delicious. The... More

We have just returned from a regular Friday night meal at 'The Stirl' What a disappointment - I ordered the rack of lamb 'stuffed with dates' with couscous, my wife ordered the tandoori chicken salad ( chicken with a salad and roti bread) I admit I was curious as to how you stuff a rack of lamb? What I got... More
