This was our second time staying here and it was even cleaner and better. This time we were in room 1 and it felt like brand new. We had no road noise trouble, though this was probably because there was no traffic. The hosts were super friendly when we got chatting. We will be going back to this motel.

A nice little motel with very friendly owners. This is well run, very clean and a nice place to chill out. Great (and healthy) takaways just a short stroll out the gate and to the right. Reviewed in the context of the location it is five stars for me.

A bit disappointed that the only lighthouse was a ' 2mtr model' at the front of the motel but the rest of the motel was as expected. Normal sized rooms and normal facilities. Helpful staff and handy for the shops/restaurants. Good breakfast and a reasonable price all you can ask for.

We just loved this place. The location was perfect. Our unit, number 7, had a seaside view. It was clean and pleasant and and had all the comforts of home. The owner was very nice too! We would recommend this adorable place to all.

Quiet location with a small sandy/pebbly beach across a small road. The accommodation was okay but the one night on the way North was enough. Shops & bars within walking distance. Free WiFi as long as you don't download.

Although the motel is a bit dated, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful. Opononi itself is very small and the shops, such as they are, are just a short drive away. We decided to use the motel's BBQ during our visit. All in all a very nice place to stay.
