Another great week in Beer - weather was not as good as it could have been but Colebrooke House was everything we expected having visited twice before. Breakfasts were excellent - a good selection and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble if you didn't want what was on the menu ( I heard people order some very interesting... More

Colebrooke House B&B is ideally situated just a few minutes walk from the beach at Beer. The room we had was large and tidy and looked out on to the main road through the village. The breakfast provided was plentiful and filling with the usual choice of cereals, full cooked breakfast and toast, fruit juices as well as tea or... More

Having never stayed in b and b accommodation before, Colebrooke House offered a very good impression of this type of holidaying. we travelled as a family of 4, including an 11 yr old and 13 yr old daughters. Dave and Wendy both very welcoming. Our family room was cleaned to a very high standard on a daily basis. Breakfasts were... More

I think you can safely ignore the one poor review. I am sure it was a one off. I assume, the free parking permits need to be returned as you check out because new guests will need them. I think checking out time was 10.30 am and we were told we could check in from 11 am. We had a... More

Our room was bright and welcoming, lots of fresh white linen on a very comfy bed. The room and en suite were spotlessly clean and the bath products smelled beautiful. The breakfasts were REALLY big and REALLY good, perfect eggs every time no matter how you want them cooked. The owners of Colebrooke House had thought of everything for a... More

This is a reasonably priced B&B in the centre of the lovely village of Beer. It is an easy walk to the beach, pubs and restaurants of Beer, plus some nice little shops. We were most impressed with how clean the hotel is; there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. The rooms are pleasant with nice modern fabrics. There is... More

We chose this place purely on the basis of the reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. Well presented/appointed/spotlessly clean and centrally located in Beer, Devon. Run by the charming Dave and Wendy Abbott who were extremely helpful in advising on local attractions and walks. First class, promptly prepared, full English breakfast though with plenty of other (healthier) options... More

Room was clean and spacious with plenty of hanging/storage space. The proprietors (Dave and Wendy) were perfect hosts, always on hand to offer advice and suggestions on places to visit and the best way to get there! The breakfasts were some of the best we've ever had - and we have travelled extensively worldwide!! Always a choice of cereals and... More

We recently stayed at Colebrooke house over Easter and felt compelled to write a review. This B&B meets and exceeds expectations, the room was extremely spacious, the bed was one of the most comfortable we have had in a long time, the location could not be better and little touches like the scrupulous cleaning every day makes a difference when...
