On arrival looked very pretty from the outside - however the chap left the run the place single handed was a tad rude and very abrupt! He lived inj a static caravan in the garden. The building & furnishings are very tired and need updating. The supposed heated pool was filthy dirty and not advisable to enter unless you wanted... More

This is the second time we've visited this hotel. Last year 12 of us booked a trip here with Brent Thomas coaches and had a cracking time. Restaurant staff were fabulous, with a great sense of humour, food was absolutely amazing, and Jim tended to our every need. Everyone on our trip had a fabulous, relaxing time. I decided to... More

My wife and I have just returned from our visit to Tenby in Wales. On the whole we had a lovely time with an excellent driver and also the bonus of good weather. The Hotel was run by a family of three and a Barman. The food was prepared and cooked by the owner himself, who I do not believe... More

Considering what we paid with David Urquhart did not expect 'haute cuisine' but the statement on menus that they provide 'home cooked food using local ingredients is misleading. First meal with a 'shop bought' steak pie with tinned carrots and very hard frozen peas. Also they used very cheap poor quality bread and any condiments needed, i.e. tartare sauce or... More

We went to this hotel on a David Urquhart tour. The hotel was set in a quite village on the outskirts of Tenby. The staff were friendly helpful and very interactive. The manager made sure there was entertainment every night from singers to bingo and pub quizzes with a twist. The bedrooms were very adequate and clean Meals were well... More

On arrival, no assistance with luggage. No draft-beer at the bar. The room was extremely cold and smelled damp and the central-heating was very sparsely used. The food was of a very poor standard, like a very bad 'school-dinner'! By the 3rd night, we'd had enough and went to eat at a local pub (Sun Inn), excellent. The room seemed... More
