Official Description (provided by the hotel):: The Ecrins Lodge is a privately owned and run chalet for skiers and snowboarders in the winter and cyclists and mountain bikers in the Summer. Access to the Les Deux Alpes ski resort is an easy five minute drive along the valley. Alpe d'Huze is also very close which is of particular interest to road cyclists. The chalet consists of 4 bedrooms with beds of ten people. In addition on the ground floor we have a further self contained studio with space for a further two people which can be rented separately, or with the rest of the chalet. We are open all the way through from the beginning of December until the end of September. The property is available for rental self-catered, or with our half-board option. We spent 4 days hiking, bicycling and enjoying the countryside. This is a fantastic lodge, absolutely beautiful surroundings and incredibly kind and knowledgeable people. I stayed in the Ecrins Lodge on my third trip to Bourg D'Oisans. It is by far the best accomodation, I have seen near Bourg. Ecrins Lodge is awesome. A perfect base to ride some of the famous Alps climbs. Will's hospitality is amazing as is his cooking and the lodge is in the most beautiful setting. Will definitely go back, no question

“Excellent base for a bike trip”

A few friends and I stayed with Will at Ecrins Lodge in June for a long weekend of cycling, including doing the Marmotte route. The Lodge was perfect for our requirements - relaxed, inexpensive, good food, perfect location etc. I would not hesitate to recommend the place.

We had 4 nights with Will at Ecrins Lodge and had a fantastic stay. Place is great, Food is world class, but homely too (dont have seconds on the starter, as you will also want seconds on the main and then miss dessert).
