We were there for a friend's wedding with our three children. The location and decor of this establishment are stunning. It is a beautiful location for a small wedding. A family room in a B&B is rare. However for babies/toddlers it is not ideal. A travel cot was supplied but the bottom sheet was not fitted and was barely big... More

I stayed at the Spotted Chook for two nights during a friend's wedding at the inn and everything was simply wonderful. Leeroy & Jane are amazing hosts and pulled off the wedding without a hitch. The location was spectacular, I could definitely get used to waking up every morning and sitting on my balcony, watching the cows graze in the... More

We stayed at the Spotted Chook for 3 nights at the start of our 2 weeks on the Sunshine Coast. It was very comfortable & relaxing, the hosts were friendly & helpful, & the breakfasts were generous & delicious. I especially appreciated the bath, & the very comfortable bed. I would love to go back next year. More

We booked out the entire Spotted Chook & Amelies Petit Maison for our wedding weekend, so we could stay with our close family (half of whom were visiting from the UK) What a beautiful time we had! The place itself is divine, with so many thoughtful touches, but the hosts Leeroy & Jane were incredible. Our first night we were... More

When we started planning our wedding we knew we wanted a personal, intimate, quirky and unique ceremony and reception... The Spotted Chook did NOT disappoint! From the first time we saw this beautiful venue, we knew it was for us. It has all these qualities and more! Jane and Leeroy are so welcoming and made us (and our guests) feel... More

Fantastic short stay in every way - beautiful district with lots to do; lovely bed and breakfast with beautiful appointments and extremely clean; gourmet breakfast; and helpful friendly people - nothing was too much trouble, even driving us out to dinner. Will definitely be back. Authentically French in character. Came away feeling truly refreshed. More

We have stayed here before and returned because of the fantastic experience. I just cannot understand the one and only negative report on The Spotted Chook although the spelling is so bad in the report it makes one think that it must have been written by a person with poor discernment! This place is not the Intercontinental Hotel - it's... More

Hubbie and I stayed in Amelies cottage for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. Leroy greeted us with such friendliness. He got the mix perfectly right. Friendly and helpful, with good suggestions on places to eat at and see, but not in your face. We were lucky in that the place had cleared out as it was mid week and... More
