Have stayed at the Hotel Placa twice now and both times found the experiance very good. The staff are remote, but that is OK. The rooms are large for the $, the air-con was great during an extremelly hot period and the location is excellent. Right next to the local market and 2 minutes from the beach. No frills, and... “Inexplicably under-occupied.”

We had stayed at this hotel and chose it again, because of its excellent location in the market place, which our balcony overlooked. We had thought that as we staying Friday and Saturday nights, the hotel would be busy, but there very few guests. I really like Sant Feliu, but others probably prefer the more modern but pretty horrible Patja... More
