We have been twice to Lone Kauri Lodge, we love the place, nearby Piha Beach and other outstanding spots. Keith and Anne become good friends. They are very good people and excellent hosts. Couldn't think of a better place to chill out. Outstanding accommodation in superb surroundings looking out to the Tasman Sea. Breakfast was gorgeous. What an incredible setting in the bush but looking out over the trees. Comfortable and clean bedroom and also a spacious living area with SKY TV, DVD etc. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast. Spa under the stars. Pleasant hike through the bush to the beach. A verp pleasant and relaxing place to stay.
