I have been using tripadvisor to plan my holidays for a while now, but never posted on it. After our annual 2 week easter trip, I decicded to post my experiences as well. We stayed in the Kruger at various camps and - the Kruger is the Kruger.... During the easter week end, we went in to Komatipoort to buy... More

We've been owners of this unit for the past 14 years. On arrival at our unit we reported a terrible smell from inside the unit. We were told that the problem would be addressed. Nothing happened. We could not sleep or prepare food due to the smell in this unit and unidentified creatures crawling in the ceilings. On Saturday we... More

The whole experience was excellent. The chalets are well kitted and have air con, which is essential. The only let down was the pools. You could spend an entire day in the resort and not get bored. The best part was seeing my first leopard.

We stayed at Ngwenya Lodge 28th December to 4th January. We had a beautiful chalet overlooking the Crocodile River. The chalets are well appointed and very comfortable. It was incredibly hot as to be expected, with average temperatures of 38 to 40 every day. The air-conditioning in the chalet was a welcome relief. We saw game at the river bed... More

The computer available for guests had stopped working, but they allowed us to use the staff one for a while. The road was still being improved at the time... More

Stayed in a river facing unit. Balcony suspended over Crocodile river so you feel like you are I the bush. Restaurant and peaceful pond close by. It was fully furnished incl dish washer, towels, all crockery and cutlery as well as ice! I would recommend that you take soap, shampoo and mosquito repellant.
