Lovely location. Communal kitchen facility clean and adequate. Ladies showers clean but did not have hot water in one of the blocks. We stayed in one of the old cabins, I wouldn't book one of these again, old, dark and dingy, I don't think these are used much so there were many spiders in our cabin. There were some newer looking cabins - I hope these were better but we were not allocated one of these. Bottom Sheet, pillow and pillow case in cabin. We were not offered any blankets even though their website says they are available free of charge. Probably better that I stuck to my sleeping bag though. I surprised one guest when I went to kitchen at night to find him asleep on sofa there. May be he thought his cabin was a bad as ours. Don't let this put you off going to Glenorchy, it is lovely there and a fantastic drive there, just check out what accommodation you are booking more carfully than I did. Our friends were in a tent and they thought it was fine as the site itself is okay.

The scenes to get there are outstanding, located right at the end of Glenorchy Road. The premises are adequate, kitchen and bathroom (small) but facilities clean. We found the owners a little bit rude. Maybe they were just having an off day.
