We had a stay over in Amsterdam and our agent advised to book Grand Hotel Amstelveen, because it was close to the airport and close to the city centre of Amsterdam. Usual hotel in Amsterdam was fully booked and I had to stay at this hotel.. When I checked the website before the trip, I thought it was not so bad but the reality is very different - just old sad business hotel, nothing more nothing less.

We stayed at this hotel as part of the Cosmos tour. Room was spacious and has a good sized bathroom. However, we had a bad experience with the staff. As we were early, we asked if we can have breakfast. The attendant replied no and to come back later .... yet minutes later two members from our group were allowed...
