It was the first time we had tried one of these holiday apartments and we were generally favourably impressed. The grounds are well maintained and quiet with a medium sized pool that was not overly crowded (we stayed at end of holiday period). The apartment was small - there were four of us but we had booked a two bed... More

There are a lot of positives to this place - the apartments are clean, the pool is great (especially for the kids and two outdoor pools with plenty of loungers in nice weather), there is a full programme of entertainment day and night, including a really nice indoor playpark, outdoor crazy golf (extra charge), sports courts for ping-pong, football, etc,... The accommodations actually reminded us of a beach house somewhere along the Atlantic. Kind of damp, kind of tired and outdated, moderately clean. It's the type of place where you don't expect everything to work, and it doesn't - some lamps didn't work, others just needed new bulbs, the wall heaters all pumped out varying amounts of heat or none... Great location, good staff service but poorer amenities than I had expected. Indoor pool open only. Very busy at weekends but quiet during the weekn in Rooms/apartments could do with a bit of upgrading too. They aren't bad at all just a little tired looking.

We spent a week here in 2010 and while I might go back if I had to, I probably wouldn't! From the perspective of someone who lives in the USA but travels a fair amount, I was very disappointed and felt it was overpriced for what you got. Here's what we liked: 1) Location: it was conveniently located to visit... More

The receptionists had a cold approach and not helpfull at all. The steps to our rooms had displaced tiles which were very dangerous. on the whole we had a nice stay. Our teenage boys enjoyed playing football in the evening. The indoor pool should be left open up to 10 on weeekdays as well.

Just got back from a week at the Normandy Gardens. We chose it for the price and the easy travel from the UK. We wanted somewhere close to the ferry at Caen but with entertainment for the children who are older now and want some time on their own or with other teenagers. We had a two bedroomed house and... On arriving we were very impressed with the whole place. There are three swimming pools, all heated and a huge play centre for our 4 year old. The accommodation was ideal and the terrace area was lovely. We overlooked the valley and had really good views. I would recommend the houses rather than an apartment. In fact we didn't want... More

We spent a week at this garden club, me and my partner and 2 children age 4yrs and 2mths. First impression on arriving, the buildings seem fairly modern, although the cottages seemed a bit scruffy from the outside. The reception area was quite big and the staff were very helpful although their English weren't all that good. We arrived very... More

A pleasant enough holiday village set in the Normandy countryside - along similar lines to centre parks but French and on a smaller scale. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage which was pleasantly decorated and well maintained. The kitchen was small but adequate, although a kettle would have been a useful addition. Our main complaint with the accomodation though,... More
