We stayed over at Viewpoint for 3 nights and for the price that we pay, it's totally worth it. Bare in mind that this is not a luxury hotel as the neighboring resorts around it (Serendipity/Idyllic/Castaway) But for the lil feeling of being on a private beach instead of the more crowded part of the Sunrise beach, Viewpoint could just... We stayed at Viewpoint after checking out of Serendipty - which was lovely but very expensive. Viewpoint shares the same small cove, but the advantage is the new bungalows are right on the beach, whereas the rooms at serendipty are high up. The room was immaculate with mossi net and fan. A friend of ours had stayed here several weeks beforehand and had recommended Viewpoint as a good budget choice. On arrival we were quoted 1200 baht but after a bit of haggling managed to get them down to 1000 baht a night.
