Stayed here for Manchester Marathon, along with a great many others it seems, which may have helped make it nice & quiet as everyone went for early nights! This is a good hotel but doesn't deliver anything exceptional. For an extra fiver you can have a view of the cricket pitch but I doubt that the actual room differs much in size or spec.
